looking for cushion suggestions

I have these 3 art prints and this rug. Now Im looking for cushion suggestions for a 6 seater black leather sectional. I lean towards a boho/contemporary/transitional vibe. Im having a hard time pulling it all together. thanks

I would consider a solid light bluish gray for the sofa.

Also, I want to duplicate one of the prints either the pink flower or lake shore print to hang together. Which one should it be?

Why not hang these two together? That will be much more interesting.

Hi Ingrid! I was thinking since I have 27ft of empty wall I would hang 2 same prints side by side then just a few feet over the single. Im not a decorator though...
This is the wall. There now is a large tree in the far left corner and no chair on the right.

Anymore cushion suggestions and links on where to buy?

Do you already have the rug? Can we see a picture of it in your room?

I love the eggplant color! I did find some teal x2, pinky griege faux fur and a silver with pom poms. Its not quite right but its a start. still open to all and any suggestions!

Oh look at that cute baby:) I like all your new pillows! I would buy another faux fur to put on the left side as well. Pier 1 had a lot of cute pillows...

kjoy the triangle cushion is exactly what i have been looking for! thank you. Should I get another same faux fur or something different? Also are kilim cushions soft textured? Ive seen some on etsy that are made of jute...it doesn't seem too comfy for a sofa.

if you like let me know, i will tell you how to get to them. your art does not need to match anything, you just need to get the pillows to go with the rug and couches.

    mix some in yours?

kjoy where did the pink one come from please? Also, I have repainted the window wall to match the others in the room back to BM classic gray. I am wondering if I need a different bookcase/storage sytem? Slowly working on this place wall by wall. lol. I had some technical issues with this site so you may have seen my old posts inder pink dots!

Are those two identical prints hanging side by side? That looks like a mistake. If you need three pieces there, (and can't buy a unique 3rd print), at least place the floral in the center. But, I definitely think you should try to get a 3rd print that is different from the other two.

Meant to add that I like the window wall painted lighter! Looks great!

yes gm they are two identical prints and a flower. Im just about to bring them down a bit and a bit closer together too. Thanks!

They do not need to be closer together.

Are you referring to the desk or the taller bookcase when you ask about "different"?

Also it depends on your budget...sometimes a coat of paint can work wonders.

ETA: if you meant your live edge desk, then no painting that!

Does hubs know that small speakers are very effective now? If you can convince him, then how do you feel about trying that live edge piece (was it a console table originally?) as a tv console?

pennydesign, I was thinking the bookcase. The liveedge piece is our 2 person desk -our "office". I do very much so want to get new speakers...hubs has a strange attachment to them. i am working on it lol. If I get a new storage piece to replace the bookshelf Im wondering if the space will have too much furniture and not enough openness? I have bern trying to find a new tv stand for about a year now.

Thats what I was thinking, but it all starts with condensing your tv area. I don't know much about the sizes of your pieces, but I'm sure a more effective/neater office area can be had from ikea.

You have a lot of stuff (understandable, because you have kids) so it would help to visually condense a little.

Can the taller bookcase go to the right of your desk as a start? What about the white piece under your desk? Can we find something a little less deep so we get a cleaner line in the front? Perhaps you can shop your house...

ETA: I didn't even notice you had a fireplace over there!

If he won't give up the ginormous speakers, personally, I think it would look so much better to have them next to the tv with the top of them level with the top of the tv...

That may require some modular pieces, but I'll look and see what's out there.

Okay, what about mounting your tv on the wall, and having a media console underneath? Then you could mount it at the same level as the top of the speakers. A bit like this but narrower, obviously:

More1362...all the pillows I put in your room were from Pier 1:)
