Are they on a dimmer? They to me are a bit too glitzy for the size of the space, and when doubled in the mirror you get 4 of them...great for doing make up but too much b perhaps. I see a cream stone counter and a natrural wood stained door...makes me feel something with a little naturalness to it would be subtle but beautiful.

The mirror lighting is on a dimmer. The sconces are not but certainly can be.

Replace the scones with slim more contemporary style. Flatter to wall as well. Put small wattage bulbs in them if you can't put on a dimmer.

Dimmers for sure, it doesn't look like you "need" the light so the mood is what I'd go for...perhaps something like these

Thank you so much for all your suggestions and your time. I agree that it needs to be something smaller and much closer to the wall. Do you think something like this would work? This is a much smaller fixture and there is something about it that I find very unique.

I'm struggling with all of the types of lighting that really compliment the mirror lighting. Can I do something different like a small crystal lighting fixture or something else really different.

Something like this... the sconces need to be small and "disappear", so they don't "fight" the lights on the mirror, like they do now. Your second choice will do the same thing.

Seems like you want to add some bling. If you have a ceiling light you could do it there. Something on this order.
