My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

huge island kitchen reveal

Hi all! I've been waiting a long time for the finishing touches on my kitchen to be done before I posted, but since my contractor (read: husband) considers things like baseboard, toe kick, and crown molding low priorities I figured I'd share as is! I am so happy with the result, the renovation has immeasurably improved the way we function in our home. The island has become the hub of activity with enough room for cooking, art projects, homework, and working on a laptop all at the same time. While I love everything about it, my favorite features are the appliance garage, slab back splash (no grout!), slide-in induction range (so easy to clean and control temperature!), and the cork board fridge panel (which still needs to be trimmed out). Thank you for your valuable feedback and answers, couldn't have done it without this community!
