Hello everyone, yesterday morning when I checked my hyacinth flower, I realized that there were several very very tiny micro transparent worms with black heads crawling in and out of my hyacinth bulb. The worm is severely small, about the same size or smaller than the leads of a 0.5 mechanical pencil. The worm only crawls on the bottom half of the bulb and the bottom half of the bulb where the root is, is starting to turn brownish. The micro worm crawls in and out of the hyacinth bulb poking it’s tiny black head whenever I touched it with a toothpick it sinks down into the hyacinth bulb. The “skin” of the hyacinth bulb is starting to peel revealing the roots that spirals around the bulb. I don’t know what to do with it so I put my hyacinth bulb near the window facing direct sunlight hoping that the worm would somewhat disappear tomorrow. I don’t know how long the worm has been on my hyacinth bulb. And now today when I checked my hyacinth bulb, the micro worms were seen but fewer(I guessed that they’re hiding inside the bulb). A few were poking their bodies in and out of the bulb, so I used my toothpick and pull one visible worm out and squashed it(I don’t know why I did that). When I squashed it with my toothpick, the transparent body turns into “water” while the black head remained.

The flowers are also whithering away due to the micro worm?? Please help my poor plant. Is there anyway to get rid of the worm without harming my plant? Is the worm harmful? Please reply and help and feel free to ask me any questions about the condition of my hyacinth bulb. Thanks!
