Chose a good rootstock. I am not kidding. Shop around. I have a real negative attitude towards blood oranges but I like the Cara Cara choice.

I love my Moros, but last year added a Cara Cara and Sanguinelli. My Sanguinelli has lots of blooms, so perhaps, I'll have an opinion on fresh fruit. I have had Tarocco (from the store) and prefer both store and home grown Moros.

Indoor in winter? Sounds like Moro is by far the favorite. The whole point of a blood is color and the other bloods will be much harder to get to color indoors in winter.

Interesting, are you recommending a good rootstock because I'm going to need to leave the tree in the cold? I was hoping to bring the trees in like the others and bringing the blood outside in the cold of the night... We will see. My choices for citrus in Canada are somewhat limited so it may be hard to find the perfect rootstock/blood

No A good rootstock will promote superior flavor in the fruit. study the chart above and shop hard. Don't get the tree until spring. It will be there now and later to. Let the trees that die do so in their shop and not your basement.
