Makeup/ Dressing Area Nook- Tiny but Potential!

Hi, I need a little help here! I have a tiny nook between the master bathroom and closet that I'd like to turn into a small makeup vanity area.

What sort of overhead lighting would you recommend? Something that won't cast shadows and is actually bright enough.

I am thinking I could fit a small table (with a desktop lighted smartmirror) and a ghost chair (plus new rug). Any narrow table suggestions?

Something like the photo below would be lovely: clean, simple and feminine.

You could easily do some wall sconces with shades on either side of the mirror, like these:

Thanks! I don't think I'll be able to install sconces but I am thinking I can get a mirror that lights up and I'll also have to get some overhead lighting

I have a vanity in my bedroom. I find just the overhead bedroom light, or preferably the natural light from the windows and a good bright lighted makeup mirror is all I need. The more drawers the better in the vanity for storing makeup, etc. A surface that is easy to clean up makeup. Makeup likes to stain. I have glass on mine.

Pin up sconces that can be plugged in would work.

I like your idea. Something to be aware of is that floor heater vent. So, a table for airflow. I suggest putting some makeup in that area for a week to test storing your precious makeup there. Dont want it to melt or dry up. Hopefully, the test will be a success.
