The rest of my story did not post. I have beautiful solid slab cabinets - and want to play down the granite countertops with a sleek backsplash. I would love a solid glass backsplash but from what I see it is not in our budget.

How do you disguise outlets in a solid or glass tile backsplash? What would be installation concerns? Any design advice?

I have solid glass and love it. It’s painted on the back with silver metallic paint, but can be any color, you can’t see anything behind it. Outlet covers are also back painted glass. In my case they came and templated just like the quartz company did for the counter. It’s really beautiful. I don’t know where you live, but here I only found one company who would do it, and therefore the price was more than I would have preferred, but in the end, so worth it, it’s clean and sleek and easy to maintain. Back painted glass is not cheap since there is a lot of prep work and install required I use glass tiles alot for backsplash and find it is pretty afforable and if you are the least bit handy can be a DIY weekend job.Keep the grout as close as possible to the tile color go a bit larger format tile and choose a glass color that works with your counter . As for outlets Lutron makes tons of colored outlets and faceplates
