ok thats weird, what happened to the comments on this?

Architectural Surfaces Group is the parent company. They manufacture Pentalquartz, a Breton product made in Vietnam. I have that product. I don't know where Metroquartz is made or if they use Breton technology.

our fabricator called and they indicated it is made in italy, not china. My wife and KD like it so we are going with it. They claimed that the breton process made it harder to look like real marble so they dont use it... does that seem reasonable?

Installed price is $54/sq ft. That is about $20/sq ft less than everything else and also you dont pay for unused portions, just what gets installed

@Anthony C did you end up with the MetroQuartz? If so, how has it held up?

I’ve looked at other brands but theirs is by far my favorite. I’m concerned because I cannot find out much information about them or any reviews.
