Is that caning inside the wood border? I wouldn’t paint that, just the wood. I wouldn’t repeat the turquoise, but nice job on your buffet! I would select a complimentary color. Need more photos to see what would work well with other elements. Two colors come to mind. Acid green or black. Both of those would work well with the piece and with buffet. More photos though first to be sure.

I think it would be fun to paint the deep raspberry color from the picture above the turquoise furniture piece.

With rug and components and TV black might be best.

If it was mine, I'd look into putting a backing on it, so you don't see the wall and cords in behind.

GF has some great milk paint or chalk paint options. I actually just used their new chalk paint in black on my dresser. but their milk paint (actually acrylic) leaves a satin finish that is nice. queenstown gray would look nice in your room. spray the handles a soft gold.

this is a piece I did awhile back and used Driftwood w/a tad of black glazing.

alcott, really? they are very well known. also have wood stains and finishing products. their milk paint is actually very nice for wood furniture, cabinets, etc.

It would be fun to do the fuchsia pictured above the turquoise cabinet but since this is a TV cabinet you want it to blend. So black seems like the best option.

Black is a uniting color and in a small space like yours will be great! I love color, but good design exercises restraint for best results. If you are uncertain just do the front of that drawer and that will help you visualize results.
