Kitchen Reno - Backsplash Advice

Hi everyone!
Have been trying to choose a kitchen backsplash for about 9 months now. Have been searching for the perfect marble herringbone backsplash but cannot for the life of me find the color I want. Plus im worried about it looking to busy. Finally think I've decided today that I will go with a simple white subway tile and then do the herringbone tile inlay above the range. What does everyone think? Also, would you do white grout or a silvery grey? The countertop we have ordered is Cambria Swanbridge and cupboards will be Oxford White.
