I am torn between a light which is dark wood, like the doors, but not round, something ArtDeco.

When I add your front door to this post, I have decided on the first one.

Beautiful doors and beautiful floor! And because these are very traditional, I'd go with a modern chandelier. That would give your foyer a fresh current look. I would also remove the chair rail, it seems to be missing from one side of your door and it looks a little too casual for such a formal entry. I'd also replace the drapes in the adjoining room with something more tailored and higher end. Good luck!
