We are doing some updating on our 70’s era home. We are planning to paint the interior. We are thinking of greige ( Benjamin Moore revere pewter perhaps). The problem is that we have mahogany casing and baseboards which my husband refuses to paint. Is the grey going to work with the wood? Or should we be choosing a different colour? Also, we are replacing the cedar on one wall in our family room with barn boards from one of our old farm buildings and wondering if it possible to stain the cedar on the other walls. It is rough and had never been stained or oiled. Again, we would want to go grey b/c the barn boards are weathered.
