It is both grayish with hint of a bit green. We could mail you samples if you'd like, please provide us with the address where you'd like us to send it too.

Can you please also send me a sample of the material? Also, have you had any chipping issues with the legs?

Yes, we can mail you a sample of the shagreen finish. Please contact us at . Regarding, the issue of chipping, the base is stainless steel and we have not encountered any issues with the legs.
