I'm not a technology person but I recently discovered that one can download free light meter apps on one's phone. I'm just amazed! Whether it is an absolute accurate measurement, I don't know, but it is useful to me for finding the most bright and less bright areas so I can arrange where to place the orchids that prefer more and less light.
