We are moving into our new home in early August. My hubby wants to paint pretty much as soon as we get our new place and I'm stumped on what to do on the main floor. As you will see from the photos, the main floor is open and flowing which is great but that means I'll need to choose one colour for the front entrance, kitchen, dining area and up the stairs into the upper hall. Also, the corners of the walls are rounded so there isn't a natural ending point so I figure I'm stuck with one colour for this area.

My new kitchen cabinets are white, the countertop is dark grey/black, white subway tile backsplash, the floor is white/light grey ceramic and the carpet up the stairs is grey. The kitchen feels stark right now so I'm wondering if colour would help or should I stay neutral??

I would LOVE any suggestions you have!
