I Have thank you...everyone in my area seems to deal with budgets over $100,000. Not what I need but my budget is pretty meaningful for what I need. I am new to my area and do not have local recommendations yet.

Google ASID designers Naples fl and you’ll get some hits for area designers. You’ll have to just call them and ask if they’ll do small projects or work by the hour. There are some in my area who will, but I’m not near you.

I saw people ask and given recommendations on Nextdoor...saw designers there looking to do smaller projects too. Maybe worth checking out your local Nextdoor?

You might also check to see whether any colleges near you have interior design programs. They might have a referral service for grads. Also, where I live, there are a couple of home decor shops where the owners are designers.

I would never do this online. Since you still need furniture pieces why not start with a furniture store you like that has designers on staff. The idea of the design school is also a good place to look , i often send my clients to art schools to choose art too.
