I like the idea of white quartz countertops, but darker cabinets, or a mix

I have a similar problem. Brick walls and timber kitchen cabinets. I don't think white is the right colour to go with the bricks ? Timber does look good but maybe with a light granite bench top? It looks like you have a fantastic view!

You can skim coat the brick to soften the look; plus you can mix the color in the mud and make it any color you like; very common in Denmark and looks great; Quartz is nice and hearty and the contrast of the light countertop and wood is nice and warm

That’s a great kitchen, the view is fabulous, I think replacing fridge with s/steel one ( no magnets on door) add s/steel stools , fab white bowls along top of cupboards then take another look, it looks great in photos, if anything replace bench top, quartz as suggested could look great, I think it’s a pretty awesome area , lucky you, I would be so happy if my kitchen had your outlook.
But on saying that if you want a complete new kitchen I am sure you will get some great ideas from other Houzzers
