You should be able to. I've never rooted cuttings from that variety, but cuttings from my dwarf mulberry are really easy to root. Granted I've only rooted them from active branches. I just did some over the winter and after 3 months there's roots coming out of the bottom already.

Active branches, what do you mean by that? Like you started them with leaves still on the stems in fall?

Yeah, branches that have leaves. I try to use active branches because they root faster than dormant ones for me.
