Your 'understanding' is incorrect.

Each seedling grown from the seeds you have - or any other pawpaw seed, for that matter - is a 'new' individual, capable of producing pollen(unless by some fluke they happen to be pollen-sterile) that could pollenize the female floral parts of the flowers of any other pawpaw. So... your seedlings could be pollenized by Shen or Susq... or by their own sibling seedlings.

Yes, but each seedling is, essentially, a different variety, even though they may be full-siblings. So... any given seedling may be pollenized by its Shenandoah or Susquehannah parent... or by any of it's seedling siblings.

I'm in KY, but members of the Alabama Pittman clan that I belong to moved on to TX from GA/AL many decades ago; I've never met any of them, but one of my AL uncles has been to a Pittman reunion, in Brownsville, I believe, and has met/corresponded with some of the TX branch of the family.
