Once they germinated and are actually producing a shoot, should I pot them up into 1 Gal's?

I would definitely pot them up to a larger pot. I have had success using smaller "pots", mostly using old cups from restaurants. Are you planning on planting them outside, or will these be indoor plants?

Since I am in zone 6b I will be bringing them inside in our Sun Room. I am currently planning on building a Greenhouse but this might not be done before next year so I will be keeping things inside and in Pots. I did see a video of a guy in Montreal, Canada that is keeping his palms outside, but he build boxes to keep them warm in the winter months. So there might be a chance to do something like that in the future.

Update:

The Washingtonia Robust's were the first to Germinate. And of the 20 seeds, all germinated. Which is awesome. I'm going to give them more time to grow some more roots and a stem upwards, and then I will pot them up.

Here is one of the little ones (washingtonia robusta). I was wondering as to what to expect from here.

What growth can I expect at this stage.

I currently have 35 of them that germinated (100% of the Seeds).

The methods we use are baggie, community pots, and sealed tubs. The 50 50 mix previously described is what we use.
