We would like to replace our over-the-range microwave with a stainless steel hood. The only problem is that we will then have to put a microwave on the counter, as there is nowhere else to put a built-in microwave. Not a problem for us, but I'm concerned about resale. Would you mind a counter microwave if you are buying a house? Would it even occur to you when you are house-hunting?
