That gives me hope! I purchased two different varieties and finally potted them together because neither was doing anything. I do have one new leaf on one of the plants, so perhaps there is hope!

It is a weird hoya. Slow growing then has spurts of growth. I'm pretty happy with the peduncles this early :D It has another shoot coming up out of the soil as well.

Congratulations on the new growth! I see you have a hoya kerri maybe?) off to the side there? I just got one of these - hoping it will survive! I don't have the variegated one like you do!

I have never had luck with the variegated ones, but the all-green ones grow like crazy for me.

Me too Carolynnv, this is the only varigated kerrii of mine to survive (so far..) I've gone though about 7 of them :( This one has suddenly taken off and I stupidly let it now I'm scared to try and untangle it from some other hoyas because I don't want to snap off the new growth. It's over a metre long now.. eep! The green ones though, not a problem!

I have two little variegated ones in my greenhouse that are just single leaves. I know they have enough stem to root and grow, but they aren't doing anything. I just leave them alone and hope that someday they will sprout. If not, I have lots of other favorites to tend to.
