Can I ask why you think there is a strain of Indian Stripe that is PL? Carolyn has posted about this several times in the past here and on TV and to my knowledge any IS that are PL are just rare C. Purple throwbacks, DNA inversions, etc. Have you read about a PL strain that has been stabilized? IS Plus that is fairly stabilized to larger fruit is still RL.

Hey Dave .... No problem. My data comes from b54red over on TV. He likes it for a later planting and it appears to do well with fruit set in the hot summer. From what I can tell he's been growing it for quite sometime. I believe he may have a stabilized version. I think he grows in Alabama. He seems to give it great reviews every year. I'd like to give it a trial. I believe that Carolyn has distributed PL seeds in one of her offers as well. We like the RL variant but would like to trial the two side by seed and see how they compare in our beds.

I had received Indian Stripe PL from a member here last year, had 5 plants growing, very robust and huge clusters of tomatoes. sadly, all 5 plants suffered from some type of wilting (most likely verticillium wilt) so i pulled all the plants while the tomatoes were still green. other varieties of tomatoes planted directly next to them were completely unaffected.

let me know if you've found a source for some seeds, as i'm interested in trying to grow them again this year, perhaps in containers instead.

I got some last year from BigVanVader over on TV. Was looking for some varieties that do well in the heat and humidity here in south Georgia. They grew fast and set lots of fruit, and ripened fast. Shelf life wasn't great so use them quick.

Bumping this. Has anyone found Indian Stripe PL? this is my 3rd year trying to locate a few seeds after my failed attempt and my loss of Indian Stripe PL crop in 2017.

Want to do a side-by-side with IS RL/PL AND CP.

I don't have membership there, I applied several years ago and never received an approval.

I'd willing to send someone some postage if needed, 4-6 seeds would be plenty. which can just be thrown in a letter size envelope.. i can also trade from things on my trade list.
