You've not provided any information for us to work with, but here are a few possibilities:

    1. If you have a regulator reducing pressure from municipal supply, you can adjust the regulator.
    2. If you are on a well, you may be able to adjust the pressure at which your well kicks in.
    3. Install a pump.

However, most of the time when homeowners say they want better pressure, what they really mean is they want more flow. If that is the case, you will need to be specific about the problem and the current setup of your home water system.

Good morning. The house water pressure in my house runs with slow pressure even after my contractor put in New pipes. I was reading one could adjust the pressure water value to increase pressure.

that th e value will be located near the main water shut off value. Online says it looks like a bell. Ok mine is located not near water line but near my oil heat boiler. At least I believe this is it based on the picture

It label a reducing value. So before I touch just want to know what I looking at.

Good morning Ms Smith. At first glance the red item look's like a pressure regulator, then I see what appear's to be wires leading into it. A conventional pressure regulating valve has no wires. That make's me think it has something to do with your heating system. Either get a clear pic of the data tag or tell us the information printed on it mainly model number. Two other things bother me. #1. That "contractor put in new pipes" and didn't address system pressure. #2. The bolt at top look's to have been messed with since lock nut is backed off. That might indicate valve is stuck and will not adjust. Waiting on valve data.

If you want to talk pressure, what is the pressure? Replacing pipes sound like you were trying to solve a flow problem, not a pressure problem, particularly when you say "slow pressure" which doesn't make sense. Do you mean slow flow? Were the pipes full of buildup? Did you replace them with larger pipes? Was the main line replaced? Are you on municipal or well water?

Yes there was built up. The house had old cast iron pipes. We don't use well water we in Washington DC

Good grief,if you left anything old (line inside wall, stops beneath sinks, line from stops to facuets, facuets ect) in system,it will restrict flow. Even the PRV might be full of that crap. If it is,I'd wear out a piece of the old pipe across contractor's head. Anyhow,on your travels, pick up a Rain Bird P2A pressure guage. It doesn't have to be Rain Bird, that's just so they know what you are talking about at the store. Available at big box and hardwares. That $10 item will easily answer the pressure vs flow volume question once and for all.

Was the main line replaced or just interior lines?

interior lines bathrooms and kitchen and basement. all was changed.

And yes water is slow flow

In that case, chances are high that your main line looks as bad or worse than your interior lines did. Likely the only way you get more flow to your home is to replace the main from the street to your home.

"interior lines bathrooms and kitchen and basement. all was changed." We know some lines were changed, the problem might be those that were not changed. If only a single line between street and facuet look's like the one in picture,it will slow flow.

"And yes water is slow flow" Again,we know that but you are asking why it's slow and what to do to fix it. The guage I told you to buy will help find why this is happening and how to fix it. You must realize you are our eyes if we are to help you. I don't mean to discourage you but if you don't have time and determination, tell us,we don't want to push you to do things you don't feel comfortable doing.

If you just bought this house, was seller supposed to fix this before you took possession? If so,they are not finished. Trying to fix it does not forfill that obligation.
