H. Merengue help

Hi Folks,

I am extremely bummed that I lost this beautiful hippie :-((( and I'm wondering if anyone might have an offset available. I have been looking high and low for it, but it seems to have disappeared from cultivation. I would be eternally grateful and will VERY gladly pay for it :-)))

Hi Fred, I wish I could help you but I nearly lost mine too and all that is left in my pot is one small offset which is not quite sure if it wants to live or die!! Just the other day, I was thinking I should pull this single leafed invisible bulb from the big pot it is in and see what is left under the soil! I had no idea these would be so finicky as when it arrived it looked and bloomed great!!! Some of these I wish I had ordered two of!!! I guess we didn't think it through that this might be the one and only year for so many of them and it was!!!

Oh Donna,

Good luck with this precious one, I hope it survives/thrives. I should rent a mule to kick me for not ordering two when they were available :-))))

Well, I just went down and pulled her pot and dug her out half hoping to see a few more offsets nestled way down in the soil but this is all she wrote!!

But, she's alive and has good roots so I'll do my best to fatten her up!!

Hi Fred,

right now my Merengue is in bloom but will take some while to develope new offsets (it had two small ones last year which I gave to a friend). Once it produces new ones I'll think of you.

Fred..."If" I still have my Merengue, it would still be in the garage. Once my Hippies there wakes up, I'll check on mine and see if it has a baby.
