Yes that one I know. It's the yellow ones that I didn't know

I've seen a video with an orchid very similar to the yellow. It was called Oncidessa Hwuluduen Chameleon 'Golden Oriole.'

kvetchlambkin, I must have seen that very exact same video a couple of days ago! The broadcaster said the name was changed to Oncidessa Hwuluduen Chameleon 'Golden Oriole' from Bapticidium. Thanks so very much for the vote of confidence. In person, the flowers are more like the shade in the first pic you posted. There's a very pleasant fragrance to it that took me by total surprise.

I remembered because I really liked the way it looked :) most oncidiums can have so much going on in the pattern department but this one stands out with its simplicity. Lucky it has a fragrance too! I'm glad I can contribute a vote of confidence for this possible ID. Did you order this one online?

I bought this one from an orchid vendor at my local farmers market. There are many plant vendors at this market and several of them sell nothing except orchids. This one was in a 6 inch pot, but once I got it home, I noticed there were actually three plants stuck into one pot so I separated each of them.

Wow you found a great deal! Nice to hear there are vendors selling solely orchids. It's not common up here in the more northern states

I moved to Florida from NYC. And there are actually some orchid varieties I used to buy when I lived there that I know would do fantastic here yet I don't see them ever available here. Very weird

Yeah that's so strange. People probably have different tastes in type and color over in Florida
