I actually find it unusual to have the same flooring continue into this bathroom. I think tile is expected here and your B&W Moroccan tile choice will make a wonderful design statement!

My only other comment is this: is it awkward to have a bathroom right off the entry AND do you really need this bathroom to be a walk through? If not, I would close off the opening to the entry and just use it from the great room.

There is no reason to tile this room. Zero!! And the only entry to consider closing is from the GREAT ROOM. It's a powder room....... not a wet sauna, and shower. An entry hallway routinely bears a powder room. Either way, the last thing you want to do is "break it up" with flooring. A color on the walls, or a great wallpaper can do that.

I would stay with the wood. I'm not crazy about the dual access and wonder if you'd consider getting rid of one door and sheetrocking? Great opportunity to use a fab wallpaper.
