I would dig and move as soon as the pips show up, no worries.

In this case I would move them as soon as I could. Roots haven't grown into the surrounding ground much so they won't even know they have been moved. I agree with the others, as soon as the ground is workable.

OK thanks, our soil doesn't freeze so I could move them tomorrow.. if I can find them ! Haha. They are sleeping and went under the mulch, so Ill wait till I see the first leaf come up.

We have beautiful weather predicted for this Saturday. I’m going to dig up some that did poorly last season and see what the problem is then replant in voleproofed spin out bags.

move them in dormancy .... as many weeks as possible before growth starts .... so they can settle in.. and get the roots working for spring growth ...

plant at proper depth ... which is the pips on the soil surface ... which would make them very easy to find ... if they had been previously ...
