Beadboard is good in a bathroom. I did it in my guest room which is long and narrow and I am happy with the results. We used a Lowes product but had it professionally installed.

You can put a wood wainscot in a bathroom, but just be certain to properly seal all six sides of the materials with a high quality primer and paint. I would tend to stay away from the pressboard panel stuff as it will not wear well over time. Another option is to do tile as a wainscot and add a nice cap rail. Good luck

Either is fine unless you are running a dozen person SAUNA in there. Prime and two coats of satin or semi gloss paint. No big deal : ) Just one reason you are seeing "like a million so awesome" photos.
