Hi Nancy, good work! It is indeed Abutilon 'Thompsonii.' We paired it with blue-violet Geranium 'Rozanne' (a real winner for zone 9b!) and Hydrangea quercifolia 'Pee Wee' which stays small for a front-focal planting. The roses, however, are not in our record and must have been planted by the client. Definitely a stunning choice! It's never any trouble, thanks again for your appreciation!

I think you and I have similar taste in plants. I recently ordered two Abutilon 'Thompsonii' for my own yard to flank a 'Little Lime' hydrangea. I LOVE oakleaf hydrangea but needed a smaller and more sun tolerant hydrangea for the spot. I'm also a huge fan of 'Rozanne' - I already have two but think I might very well end up planting two more next to the abutilons. Great minds! Hahaha!
