Supposing you removed the cabinet doors and turned the cabinets there into open shelving, you could mount the television to a pivoting arm attached to the overhanging wall. Essentially, the TV would act like a large cabinet door. It would allow you to retain the storage space, and also to angle the television toward the spot from which you took the second picture.
