My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I helped my sister restyle her living room and used a photo from houzz as the inspiration. First photo is the HOUZZ Inspiration Photo, second photo is the LR before and last photo LR after

    Nice improvement but at first glance, I think the coffee table is too small for the area, and the large plant in the back is distracting. A larger coffee table would help to balance the space. It also feels like there is too much going on on the back wall.

      Great to see that you were able to use a lot of the existing furniture! You really did achieve something close to your inspiration photo. I agree with previous comments about the coffee table and also wonder if eventually adding a unique chandelier would take the space to the next level. Overall all though- brilliant job!

      the coffee table should measure more or less half to 3/4 length of your sofa

      The LR dimensions are 36' X 24' , Height is slightly over 8'

      Great job rrgardner! It was pretty cool to see how open you were to suggestions. I would agree with the larger coffee table. I lean towards the rectangle leather table. Good luck! I hope your sister knows how lucky she is to have your help!

      Looks great, I agree the coffee table to should be bit bigger. I think the third option that you posted for coffee tables was best.

      The rug really lightens up the room and makes it look larger. I agree about the coffee table. Glad you took off those green covers from the white couch chairs!
