Yeah.... he's pretty nice when he does bloom. Not a real great repeater for some reason. I like him better when he has the blackish edge. Didn't do it as much last yr tho.

Love the petal arrangment on PROSPERO. PICTURE is fairly simple rose, but elegant looking. I always think Perle d'or is a bit untidy.

It never ceases to amaze me how many 'newbies' I find.

Oh my goodness there are some beautiful roses that start with the letter P.

I think I only have one and it is the pretty lady rose.

Hoang - those are gorgeous!!! I can't say which one I love the most....wow!!! I think I love Pink Peace the most!! What do you think of Purple Tiger...is it skimpy with the number of blooms it gets? What is Parade Day's fragrance like for you? Thank you sooo much for sharing those pics!!

I cant detect any fragrance on Parade Day. As for Purple Tiger, it’s in its first year and the first flush has only 5 flowers. It’s as not as vigorous as my other roses. The blooms last pretty good and appearantly very rain and wind tolerant. That’s all i know so far. Oh and no fragrance.

Hoang - darn no fragrance on Parade Day. Yes, I've heard that Purple Tiger isn't as vigorous...but it's soooo beautiful! Thanks. :)

Last year I ordered Purple Tiger and before it arrived saw reviews that it wasn't a super hardy performer.

So I called northland rosarium and changed my order and gave her the reasons why and she agreed that it was not her best performing rose.

It is certainly one of the prettier roses and I wish that it was more reliable

Kristine - yes, I know!! Same thing can be said about Variegata de Bologne. Sigh.

One of my coworkers got purple tiger In a free giveaway. He loved it and for him it thrived. But that's not the consensus that I am hearing about that particular rose. Too bad, I really wanted it and some day maybe when I just have bought all the other roses that I want that do really well and I just happened to have a little space for something that I need to baby maybe that will be the one. LOL

That is one of the prettiest Peace roses that I have ever seen
