Is there a drain hole in that pot? How have you been watering it?

looking at images.. your plant has excessive white ... and that can be problematic.. as white tissue is a net negative to any given leaf .... reduced photosynthesis .... usually much more touchy to insult ... etc ...

in the hosta world ... this much white would make many of us collectors wonder if it werent a terminal white ... a weakling ....

only other thing... is anything bumping into it .. or fondling it .. cat ... etc ... once you damage a leaf .... many things can come along afterwards ... and cause secondary problems ... and treating the secondary problem.. usually doesnt help the initial problem ...

tsugajunkie, the pot has a drainage hole and I water when the first couple inches of soil are dry.

I know that this plant was capable of forming greener leaves at some point because the lowest leaves are very green. It gets sunny on the sill but not scorching, and the plant is up way too high for anyone to rustle against it.

I attached pictures of the entire plant and the pot so you guys could see.

When I bought it, it was the only one of its size and type at the nursery (Cactus Jungle in Berkeley). So I chose it despite the damage on the lower leaves. The employee there was pretty defensive when I brought it up and insisted it was a healthy plant despite the sunburn, so there’s that.

Appears to be an unstable sport. Which has again sported, this time to even more white.

It won't survive if all new leaves have that much white.

If it were mine, I'd cut off the stem above the green leaves, then hope for sprouts from the lower buds which will have a decent amount of green.

I don’t think the current deterioration is a result of improper care, so I will keep tending to this plant as usual. I will keep this thread updated.
