We just finished our bedroom ceiling by removing the texture. I am not happy with the end results as it is not flat enough and the edges aren't straight. Our ceiling is pretty high and vaulted. We have one beam. I would like to give character to our ceiling. I love beams. Should we add more beams? Which color should beams be? How to cover the uneven edges? What to do to fix the ceiling that doesn't look very flat with the less amount of dust? Our floors in the bedroom are dark hardwood hickory. Please see attached pictures. Thank you for all the help.
