Planning to redo fireplace surround. Settled on a white tile to put along the entire lower wall. It should make the smallish room feel a bit more pulled together once I get a new rug and corner lamp. Before I pull the trigger on the white tile, I wanted to make sure I shouldn’t be tiling the lower in black and painting the wall behind the tv to hide it. My concern with all black is that it makes the room feel small. It’s not a huge space. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. While we are planning to get a slightly smaller sectional (article’s Sven) it will still be black leather due to allergy concerns and messy kids. So, should the wall be black or white? Thank you!
