I adore your light fixture and I disagree about the mirror. I think it breaks up the straight lines in the space.

I would embrace the neutrals. Sepia timed prints grouped in the wall with the tp roll and fluffy cream hand towels.

Can you look into getting the exposed plumbing parts upgraded? On my screen the white plastic pipe looks dirty. Maybe it’s just the light.

I'm thinking it just needs some glam. I would paint the mirror in a metallic dark pewter finish. I would add one large piece of artwork on the wall that you see as you walk in. Change the towel to a solid color and upgrade the rod if you can. Go shiny on the trashcan too. Not a lot and simple touches.

I agree with enjoythejourney that the mirror doesn’t seem to work color wise, and the Chippendale style doesn’t look right with the sconces. It’s too formal. I love the millwork. It’s hard to tell how far apart the toilet, sink and towel bar are to one another in your pictures.

I love the brown of the mirror with the gray/beige and think you should go with it with the rest of your color scheme. Start with art for inspiration and then bring those colors in with the towels and accessories.

I love art in the bathroom. It's one of the few places I get to sit & enjoy it. (& if there's space, I often put some behind the toilet, as well, so male visitors can stand & enjoy it.)

Is the custom wallpaper a grasscloth? Shop for some stunning artwork, something with a lot more color than the neutral bathroom has so far.

I'm not a big fan of your mirror. I would change it because I feel the wood frame doesn't really reflect the same style as the chrome faucet. I love the wainscoting... so pretty! If your style is transitional, I would go with a larger colorful, abstract print to the right of the toilet (if you're sitting on it) and some type of metal wall piece or decorative shelf above the toilet. Also, I would change out the glass shades on your two wall sconces to something a bit more modern. Your powder room is very similar to one I had in my home.

It's a really pretty room. I think you need to spend some time on Pinterest and see what strikes your fancy. The finishing touches are so personal and there are too many different directions to go in... but the only right one is the one that feels right to you.

I would have raised that outlet so the trim would be the same as behind the sink.
