These look to be custom...however, being a zealot of repurposing, this look could easily be recreated with a little ingenuity. Check the measurements of the space you want to address, go to a box store and purchase an tall, slim cabinet....the kind that they sell for pantry space/broom closet, etc. If you purchase one that is unfinished, you can easily co-ordinate the finish on the cabinet with the panels above. Keep in mind the desired height of your seat when choosing the cabinet...they come in several widths which will become the seating height. The seating can be set on a simple base attached to the floor that will raise it off of the floor and create a toe kick.

First, glue the shelf dividers permanently in place. When dry, lay the cabinet on it's side. It can be trimmed to fit or may need some trim panels if it's a tad short, just like your kitchen cabinets have.

You should decide before installation if you want the doors to open up or down. You could also take the hinges off and use the door fronts as drawer fronts if you think you would like to have someone create a drawer instead of just having a cubby space. Either way works great.

For the panels, buy raised panel bifold door panels. You can purchase them singly or as a complete door. Just remove the hardware. They may need to be trimmed out if they don't fit exactly but that is a simple carpentry task. You might have some fun and make one panel top a cork board, another a blackboard and another magnetic. In this picture tho...looks like they are actually doors for more storage. Finish them to match the seat and you have nice alcove storage at a fraction of custom or ready-made cabinetry. There are many options....find someone handy (YOU?) and use your imagination. It's all good!!

could be either... i bet you could figure out how to do it using stock materials.... i use a local carpenter to do this type of stuff at my house! I am not handy!

I do my own carpentry and other tasks.....so I know this can easily be done as mentioned above. Just takes a little extra thinking to make the pieces fit. :)

They are actually basic wall cabinets that we added the metal message boards to.
