I do not have this one - but generally Don Ness hybrids are very good reliable strong plants.

This one has been on my list for a while but it has gotten bumped down a few times. Very nice!

I have to admit that I'm just not a fan of this one, but then I'm predisposed towards the single star pastels and darker leaves in general. I am sure Irina knows far more than me, but I've heard good things about Ness' AVs too.

I actually just planted a leaf of Ness Cranberry Lace that was given to me by a fellow grower. We will see how it grows .

Don Ness from Minneapolis registered a lot of plants. His hybrids are loved by MN growers - and it is well deserved.

Three observations - plants grow better in a climate they originated from. AV lovers who live in a similar climate - will get an advantage.

Second - if the hybridizer registers a lot of plants - not all of them will be top notch, There is always a lot of pressure to release new hybrids - so some are look-a-likes. Ness plants already passed the test of time - and only the best are still around.

Third - Ness hybrids are not the most flashy - but they are very reliable, sturdy, have a good rosette and abundant long lasting blossoms with good substance. Very show worthy, These plants usually perform well for a regular grower. If plant is not show worthy - means it has at least one serious weakness.
