I would replace the mirror with art work unless of course you love seeing the reflection of the top of the door and casing.I like a bowl or basket for keys .

It might be the angle but it looks to me like you need taller items, to visually tie the table to the mirror .

I’m squatting down and taking the picture looking up so it’s a weird angle.

Lamps possibly as I believe I see an outlet. Decor to harmonize mirror and furniture. This farmhouse coastal look is what I came up with not seeing the rest of the space. Materials and scale to balance is what is needed however I like the round black mirror and piece.
