For wall Add a large piece of Art over sofa and make it the focal point to anchor a room. A large piece of Art can really bring in a wave of deftness and add more color and life to your room. It acts as a style to your room.

Move the sectional closer to the FP. The end of the chaise should be centered on the back wall.

What's the purpose of the table and lamp in the corner? I would place a tall tropical plant in the corner.

The white table seems a bit "unlinked" from the rest of the room. A distressed white washed finish might be a better selection.

Consider a wall mounted swing arm light.

Mount art between your two ceiling downlights.

Move the little white table and put a long console on the large wall and then put two lamps on the console with artwork on the wall.

Pull the sectional out from the wall so you can have a chest/end table and a substantial lamp at each end. Lamp lighting is more flattering than overhead lighting, and makes reading easier. Pain the white table to match the wall: the present contrast is too strong. Create a gallery wall of 4-6 pieces or put up one or two large ones.

You need a couple of chairs, each with a convenient place to set something down.

There is no color in this room. Please add some.

You don't have to have color if you don't want some. I would replace that little table with a chair in the corner, put a narrow sofa table between sofa and wall to hold the lamp and an object.

Although a little color usually never hurts.

I like the informal all-over arrangement grover did, but not with white [since rug seems light tan, idk just don't]... anyway, I wondered about a hanging-chain pendant drum lamp? by wall by sectional corner? ... or.

I like grover's suggestions, but the coffee table is still not working.

I removed the coffee table if anyone wants to give her a new one.

I would do a large square coffee table to balance size of sectional. Something like this one, would work great. I like this cement top because it repeats look of stone fireplace and works with color of sofa.

Artwork would be a great addition to that wall. You could offset it in a number of ways: by adding a chair in the corner where the table currently is, or by even adding a tall lamp. Since you said you don't want color either, you can easily go with a monochromatic piece.

Thank you all for the comments. Great suggestions. I’ll go shopping and look for options. I will def purchase a chair, possibly stain wash the table with tints of grey, and add a large art peice (already have one in mind with blues)
