Bona HD Traffic in Satin - shiny spots

We sanded and finished our wood floors with Bona HD Traffic in Satin three months ago. About two weeks ago multiple quarter-sized shiny spots showed up in various places on the floor. We think maybe a friends drink (liquor) spilled. The Bona people have told me to apply their Power Plus cleaner and we’ve tried many times to no avail. Any recommendations? I thought this product was durable!!

Try a little ammoniated window cleaner on one spot. Yet it sit a while then wipe it off and see if it's removed.

As above. The finish is doing it's job. The wood is fine. The finish is fine. And the good news about SHINY spots = they dull down with time.

The other option to try is rubbing alcohol. And yes...it is possible for a moderate level "gloss" like satin will show something SHINY like oily spots. If something is SHINIER than the finish then it will show up as shinier. I would bet a gloss finish would have hidden these spots.

A decent cleaning is probably all that is needed. And BTW, what is your cleaning regime (I'm curious).
