Tomato/pepper seedlings suddenly started leaning sideways?

Hello all,

I am growing some hot peppers and tomatoes from seed and have been dealing with a moderate infestation of fungus gnats. Yesterday I decided to spray some pyrethrin based insect spray (Safer brand) around my seedlings to kill some of the gnats flying around and within an hour all of my seedlings started leaning sideways and curling away from the light! I am worried that I may have shocked the plants with the spray. Has anyone had any similar experiences or maybe have some advice on how to save them? My second thought was that perhaps the fungus gnat larvae has started doing their damage, which would explain the rather consistent symptoms amongst all the plants. While the plants look wilted they're actually still stiff, albeit in their new horizontal alignment, I hate to think that a momentary lapse of judgement could have doomed them all!

Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks!
