Twist of Lime in front, and the amazing Touch of Class on its right.Tongue Twister is one of the last hold-outs in autumn.

This is a streaked sport out of 'Fortunei Hyacynthina' that I call "Twisting In The Wind", the stable medio-variegated form I call "Twisting The Night Away".

"Tousled Hair" is a seedling out of 'Hacksaw' and 'Ray of Hope' and is unique because of its flowering habit, it has fused flowers.

'Tiki Torch' comes from Don Rawson.

Top of Mt. Fuji really caught my eye, I am always drawn to any montana. You have such a wonderful collection. So many of yours that I need to look up!

Laurie, in your photo its apparent that Teaspoon really is aptly named. I have one that was just planted last year... hope it fills out like yours... really pretty.

peren, the difference in hosta taste between our continents is interesting. I also have to look up hostas that are posted here because they are not sold in Europe.

Top of Mt.Fuji was a cheap hosta, only 5 €, so I took it. It is so unknown that nobody seemed to buy it...But I also love the Montanas and the decision was made quickly.

Yay windy, you will love Teaspoon. It has a really good growth rate so you should have a nice sized plant in a season or two. If I remember correctly you like flower stems that go straight up. Here is a pic from last year for you and Karin.

Love those flowers, Laurie! And speaking of straight scapes... I was debating about a few of the larger plants with blue/green leaves and yellow margins... ie: Eclipse, Garden Treasure, Glory Hallelujah... and then I saw a picture of Abba Dabba Do. I think that's the one for me! Especially since it also tolerates a goodly amount of sun.

A story behind this 'Thunderbolt'. This is the first uncommon hosta I bought, some 25-30 years ago. I didn't know squat about hosta back then, and planted it under a maple. It took many years to grow just a handful of eyes, until I moved it to a slightly better location, and then it grew to a medium-small plant. About 6 years ago I moved it to it's current location, and it just tooook ooooffff!

peren, I'm pretty sure I got Tobacco Road mail-order in 2013. I was growing it in too much shade the first 2 years, then it took off once I moved it to dappled shade conditions. I'm too, am a fan of Olga's plants.

Late last Summer, I purchased Tokudama Aureonebulosa and I can't wait to see it this season. Here it is when I got it in the mail in August.

Steve- Temptation is one I hadn’t seen or heard of... is it lutescent? I don’t see it on Don Rawson’s lists of either lutescent or viridescent plants.

windy, the center of Temptation does go green eventually. Some folks believe it, and Golden Meadows are the same plant. I also have GM, which goes green faster, but could be because it's in more sun.

Nothing new here, just 2 repeats.

Steve - interesting! I looked up Golden Meadows and Temptation in the Hosta Library Comparison feature... they do look a lot alike, but it seems like GM has more ruffly-edged leaves. Could be just the individual plants that are there.... ? Anyway, both are beautiful, and your specimen of Temptation is really beautiful. Very tempting, I'd say!

Yes windy, I would say my GM leaves are more flouncy than Temptation's. They are both attention getters in spring-early summer, but then when they lose their center, they're kinda ho-hum.

Newhostalady, Twist of Dwarf was already on my wishlist. Yours solidified that position. I love Titanium too. I'm not usually into the true blue hostas, but that's a beauty!

Thanks popmama. Twist of Dwarf is a cutey. Glad to hear it is on your wishlist! I think if I had had a photo of Titanium this last summer, you would have liked it even more. I remember looking at it last year amazed at how beautiful it was becoming.

Titanium is one of the first hostas I ordered for spring. Now I'm sure that I made no mistake. Very nice pale blue, reminds me a little of Flemish Sky.
