couple of suggestions that might work. pick what you like. you could always adjust the size to any of these (get them in the smaller size or raise or lower them)

A lot of chandeliers have adjustable cords, however for your ceiling height the chandelier should only be 30"-32" above your table. If you follow the standard I think any chandelier will partially interrupt your painting. If you get a lightweight/leggy chandelier you'll still be able to see "through" to the majority of your painting.

Hard to tell from just these pictures if the style fits you or your space, but I love the first chandelier Beth posted.

Great little dining space! I wouldn't do anything larger than a 25" diameter. Here are a couple of options. Hope this will be a great start. Good luck!
