Siding help, please!

I live on the Oregon coast and need to reside my house soon; it has old T1-11 that is rotting from soil exposure. I just purchased this house, so this is the neglect it came with :-)

The house faces north and sits sideways to the street, which makes curb appeal a bit tricky. It's also on a slab foundation. The front and the door you see in the photo is really just visible once you pull into the short driveway; from the street, you really only see that left side with the white gutter and the square window.

I have a modest budget, but if anyone has ideas on how to reside this house in a way that elevates its curb appeal I'd really appreciate it! I mean, I could just replace it all with more T1-11 or LP, repaint and call it it a day...but I feel like I'd be missing out on an opportunity to increase its resale value. The style inside is mid-century and open and I do wish to embrace that vibe but wonder how to do that deliberately via siding.
