Having a LOT of problems deciding on colors and materials for our masterbath. The window at the far end faces South. I'm still concerned about the lack of light in this room. We're going for a modern Asian feel.

Please see the attached sketchup that I've tried to make of the bathroom.

1.) The cabinets are the only thing set in stone. They are edgegrain bamboo with dark walnut stain.

2.) For the vanity and tub, our designer initially called for Caesarstone Quarts, "Baja" in polished finish. I'm not exactly in love with the color.

3.) Vanity wall backsplash: Italics -refin Stile 5/8" x 11 5/8" in Beige. My wife definitely is not happy with this color.

4.) The niche backwall is in Island Stone- interlocking pebbles (Maluka Tan). We're happy with this as we like the change in texture.

5.) Floors: wood motif planing in Dark Brown.

Our main worries are that the along with dark brown floor, the beige backsplash and the caesarstone quartz in "baja" is just very very, blah.

We'd like see if others might have suggestions on alternative colors and/or materials.
