I have an old metal awning, original to my 1948 house. My house is painted yellow with white trim and a bright turquoise door. Our front windows face south. They are mullioned, (Multiple panes between redwood casings). We also have one of the smaller windows on the south-west wall where the awning appears. A pretty awning would add a nice touch.
