How do most of you using drip irrigation fertilize?

I’ve calculated that I need approximately 500 linear feet of drip tape for my fairly good sized vegetable garden.

If I’m doing the calculations right, I won’t need hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of water soluble fertilizers, plus a $100 fertilizer pump, to fertigate.

So, despite the inconvenience of having to remove mulch, and work around the drip lines to work in granular fertilizer, I think that’s the route I’m going to take, because it’s about 1/10 of the cost.
