I would love recommendations for some dwarf daylilies. I can see that there appear to be a lot of daylilies around 10" tall that are registered, but I am having a hard time sorting out what is an obscured one-of-a-kind registered type vs what is actually commercially available, and where to buy them. I got a pair of small coffee-cup-sized starts of Penny Earned 2.5 years ago, and while the foliage is growing in nicely, they have done almost nothing in terms of flowering (of two plants, one bloom the first year, no blooms the second year, despite other varieties of daylilies doing very good in this area). Are all dwarfs going to be less rigorous, or can you recommend more rigorous types?

I would love some recommendations for dwarf / very short daylily varieties, ideally

- ok for zone 4

- 7-10 inch tall foliage, of if scapes are a bit taller

- colors: golden yellow, white, orange, coral, magenta, dark pink; (no reds or pastels)

- good to decent bloomers, fairly rigorous plants

- something I can buy in the US (please note if you know where they are sold) or trade for
